Contact with dead people?

I have felt the spirit of the recently departed many times.

Once, when I was about 13, a friends brother died. The day after the funeral, we were sitting on her bed, talking. We started laughing about something, and we both heard her brother laugh with us and we both felt him.

I am not going to try to explain something that no one can really understand.

But know that your friend cared about you, and if you feel him around, acknowledge him. You can even talk to him. You don't even have to talk out loud. Just a thought conversation will do. He won't answer, and I really doubt that you will ever see him.

I would be interested to know how he died. If it was a sudden death from an accident or such, you might explain to him what happened. Let him know that you are ok.

Eventually, this will fade. One day, you just won't ever feel him there again.

My mum believes my dad visits her. He has been dead for 23 years, apparently they have conversations & he turns a particular lamp on when he is around. He sometimes taps her on the shoulder & she senses his presence. I have had similar experiences when I have been sick, I saw him whilst trapped in a car after a serious car accident, on my wedding day & after my son was born. My son is very familiar with his poppy & he never knew him. Who can explain it , maybe it is wishful thinking at times of stress?

it's a fact that if you do not want or are not ready to be contacted by a spirit, they will not show his or herself to you. i wouldn't be worried if i were you, it's most likely just their way of letting you know they're with you.

No and personally I'm not fond of the concept of thinking that the spirits of the dead are floating around for all of eternity, waiting for us to communicate with them.

My husband died almost five years ago and, while I haven't seen him, things have happened that make me know he has been around. Believe me, there is nothing spooky about it. These things are very comforting and reassuring.

It's not his spirit, it is the memories of him that are in your head and are always with you.
