  • clearasil on mature skin?

I am 29yrs old and just checked out the Clearasil website. It suggested i use Skin Perfecting Wash Sensitive. Is this a good and suitable product to use on my skin?

I'm unsure as i always associated Clearasil with a younger, teenage type of clientele...

I am after just a good face wash/cleanser for the occasional breakout, preferably for frequent use for a fresh faced feeling and my skin type is sensitive.

I am however on a budget and am looking for something preferably easily purchased ie: at Coles.

Many thanks, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Samsung Galaxy s2 speakers?

I'm trying to find good and reasonably priced speakers for my samsung galaxy s2. I found a docking station for approx $50 but the seller is unsure of the speaker quality.

Obviously im not expecting sub-woofers but does anyone know of good speakers that match this phone and put out at least a little more/louder volume than the phone itself.

Appreciate all and any help, cheers

  • Sick Fantail Fish? sitting on bottom of tank..?

Last night our Fantail Fish was on his side at the bottom of the tank. We removed all of our fish, cleaned the tank and kept the sick one separate all night. We blew bubbles into the water that the sick one was in to air-ate the water and this morning he seemed better. I've since put him back into the fish tank with the others but he's still favouring the bottom of the tank (no longer on his side though) and his gills seem to be going in and out more rapidly than the others. He is moving more however and has eaten breakfast.

Any ideas as what to do or what it might be? Many thanks

  • Acer Aspire laptop won't turn on...?

I purchased an acer Aspire 5253, model no: p5we6. It was not refurbished but it is a factory second (damaged box etc so they re-package and sell them a bit cheaper). It didn't turn on when I tried to start it Friday so I returned to where i purchased it and it turned on first go! Feeling a little silly I figured I'd just held the button down for too long or not for long enough. Anyway, it worked great last night as we tested a few trial games that came with the laptop until this morning when i went to turn it on again before heading out to purchase a new USB wireless internet and... It will not turn on again!!!! I've charged it, kept it plugged in for over 2hrs and it still will not switch on. I'm obviously returning it tomorrow but has anyone experienced anything similar with an acer before..? Please help, this was my girlfriends 30th bday present so i'm pretty disappointed to say the least and could use some advice, if not ammo when i return to the computer place tomorrow so I don't feel stupid again lol Many thanks :)

  • Canine diabetic neuropathy/ MELLITUS?

    Papillon/Fox Terrier cross breed.

My girlfriends 3.5kg, 8yr old dog seemingly has Diabetes Mellitus &/or diabetic Neuropathy symptoms... excess weeing, drinking, weight difficult to gain, involuntary legs spasm etc. We noticed her 'involuntary muscle movements' (front legs only) over a yr ago and she was diagnosed as being epileptic due to what we thought at the time was spasming (of the front legs) as she would suddenly seem to lose muscle control, become a little unbalanced, raising one FRONT leg at a time and leaning against our other dog to keep upright. I stress that this was only in her front legs and only once, (over a yr later) last night have her back legs ever seemed to be affected. As directed by the vet a yr ago we took her off the epileptic meds to see if she'd improved and cut out all scraps and long walks as we deemed these the cause of her 'fits'.

Until last night she's been 'spasm-free' however in a state of excitement (dinner time) her front legs both seized up... lifting towards her head and her rear legs were a little wonky as she tried walking. She was totally responsive and still only had eyes for her dinner. Her breathing and heart rate also seemed as normal as I could tell.

We have been feeding her the occasional treat again lately so i assume this has set it off, however her nightly wees are larger than ever (the size of our 25kg staffys!) and we're uncertain of what to do. My main question before we go taking her to the vet is, has anyone had a diabetic dog with similar Neuropathic symptoms, especially the front legs as this seems almost unmentioned in all cases I've searched... Many thanks, from concerned animal owners and our little Roxy :)

  • Hip/leg joint popping while stretching?

I've just started Pilate's and prior to that had physio and some osteopath. In one particular stretch i used to do which is similar to a Pilate's move my instructor wants me to do my bones stick... lol let me explain the move:

lying flat on your back, raise one leg up bringing your knee towards your chin

straighten and drop leg down lowly.

now, as i do this last part, (my leg only slightly off the ground now as i've brought it down) where my groin is, the bone is getting caught and popping/crunching really bad. It's worse on my left side, not exactly painful but uncomfortable and makes me queasy from the sound and feel. The physio teaching me Pilate's says it's my bones catching, it's common and that if it hurts me too much we won't do it.

If i do continue to do this, can it cause problems later... or now? Or is there anything i can do to lessen the crunch?

Thanks, hope i explained it ok :)

  • Natural Wheezing?Breathless remedy?

It mostly worse (or only) at night, I'm really wheezy and sometimes a bit short of breath. I smoke 5-10 cigarettes a day and used to have an asthma puffer when i was young but don't like using them.

I'm a 28 yr old female and I'm aware the smoking wouldn't be helping.

Any answers regarding nature therapies would be much appreciate :) Thanks

  • Magnolia 'Little Gem'?

I planted a Magnolia Little Gem about a year ago and it has not grown or flowered at all.

It is in a sunny spot, gets watered regularly, and has plenty of tambark (mulch) around it. The soil where i planted it is fairly hard and i don't think it drains too well although i do use slow release fertilizer on the soil.

The leaves of the Little Gem burnt badly last summer although they have since recovered and it hasn't grown ANY new ones or flowered once.

What can i do to help it along. I did notice that it'd established good roots into the ground.

Any tips would be great as i'd like to try and save it instead of getting something else to replace it :) Thanks

  • kidney transplant and dogs?

My cousin had an unsuccessful transplant (long story).

She was told by doctors she was unable to have a dog.

Why is this? And can she have one in time?

A brief description of her condition: Severe Lupus, she needed a kidney asap so they gave her one that didn't match and hoped the anti-rejection drugs would allow it to survive. They haven't worked and because of the Lupus she already, obviously, has no immune system. What is it about dogs that can affect her at this time?

She didn't ask the docs why so this is why i am asking yahoo-ers :)

  • Why do animal meanings differ from culture to culture?

The spiritual meaning of an animals can mean one thing in one culture and something completely different in another. Ie, Pigs are viewed unclean by some and they will not eat them, To others however, they're a tasty dish.

    Why is this?
