good things happen more often in life than bad things?

Do you agree..with.. good things happen in life more often than bad things?

I hear people say this world is mess up and everything..but I truly believe good things happen more often..and by watching the news and concentrating on the negative things in life, we tend to think this world is mess up...this world is not so bad if we look at the positive side.

What do you think?

i think that it depends on how you look at life..if you are optimistic then you can have more positive things go for you rather than being pessimestic and having more depressing ideas and more bad things. i for one believe that we are given the choice of good and bad and it is up to us to choose and make decisions that will impact our lives..we all are given more good than bad chances yet you have the ability to choose. heck i cannot complain since yes life has its ups and down yet it has its perks..the reason people say that the world is messed up is because they are messed up and going thru a hard time..yes media plays an important role in day to day life but it is what we choose to watch on TV, yet it is up to us to be positive even when the going gets tough..we have so many chances and positive opportuneties yet take them for granted and forget about what is important.my life consists of more positive then negative things because that is how i want to live my life and yes the media and news are part of my life but they do not depress or dictate my life

I believe good things happen at twice the rate of bad things. It also depends on if you look at life (from the cliche) "Is your glass half empty or half full?". I try to see the opportunity in the problem and not see obstacle in the problem. And no...I am not naive enough to believe that everyone's life is actually rosey and they should just get over it when there is a problem. Some problems are devastating and hopeless. And if I were in the middle of a war or starving in the streets, I would probably not have this healthy of an attitude. I am very fortunate and blessed. But I maintain a positive outlook on life and fight the negative feelings when they arise. Mind over matter in my case. Live happy....be happy

Have you heard of Darfur? The current conflict in Darfur is complex, caused by a host of political, social, economic and environmental problems. The crisis affecting millions of people... If you lived there I wonder what your perception would be?

But you don't have to leave the country to fined political, economic and social problems, when you just want to go to school one day and then you just want to make it off campus alive the next... Who cares if there were more good overall today, I just want to survive! (good luck to us all!)
