of course it's not. Everyone has their own glass house, although it may take different shapes. For instance, you may feel its ok condem a friend for smoking pot because you don't smoke pot. But you may be 50 lbs overweight. Your glass house isn't 'pot' but food and laziness, so you still live in a glass house.

Those who love to condemn others are addicted to the rush of adreneline and feeling of superority they get when they slam others. That is a more descrtuctive addiction than herorin or cocaine could ever be.

Ask yourself, why do you want to throw stones? There is far too much stone throwing in the world.

The Bible says "Let he who is without sin throw the first stone". Therefore, the obvious answer is no one is free of sin, and so it is not okay to throw stones. In Biblical times, throwing stones was something that was actually done to people who broke religious "laws".

To apply this question to current times, I am assuming that by stones you are not speaking literally, but figuratively. We are all tempted to castigate others for different reasons, but when you do, you are only bringing yourself down to the other person's level. My philosphy is to be the bigger better person, and remember that not every one is as spiritually mature as I am. A smile can drive someone crazy when you don't respond to their anger. Keep smiling!
