I need help please. Can someone give me the right choices out of these? there is more than one answer. thanks.

Which of the following are situations that contraindicate medication administration by the oral route?

a. The client who is confused and unwilling to cooperate

b. An unconscious client

c. The client who has a nasogastric tube connected to wall suction

d. The client who is NPO

e. The client who is unable to sit upright

f. The client who has taste alteration

    These are contraindicated; b, c, d.

    These might work in the right patient, subject to review and close supervision; a, e, f.

    A. to E. is the right answers, but it is still a bit vague. Although if it has to be one then b. because in order to take orally you need to be semi concious.

    i'm not a doctor but i would think that A & B would be the more obvious ones. don't know what NPO means.
