Is it weird that Yahoo answers, saying you are a winner goes in my bulk mail?

I just looked at what was there, and it's this thing from Yahoo answers, saying you're a winner. Claim this? Is that real? Why does it go in bulk mail, when I have a Yahoo email address? And, if it's not real, is it spam from Yahoo? I guess I just don't understand why they would send those out to people, if they weren't real, wouldn't Yahoo subscribers, just start dropping out of Yahoo?

Listen, there are plenty of people who can manipulate the name on an e-mail address to show up as something else. If it was truly Yahoo's e-mailing personnel sending it to you, you would not have it going to the bulk folder. These people are attempting phishing you. Look up "phishing" if you don't know what that is.

Yahoo is goofy that way. Put the address used in those mailings into your address book and it should clear up most of the problem. Also, open the post and click the "not spam" button, that might help.

there going to your junk mail becuase the message is saying you are a winner, which is reminiscient of those spam lotteries since the email saying your a winner isn't in your safe list the spam flitewrs are catching it instead.

that is probable the trolls and once you ask the question with regard to the thumbs down others went and gave the solutions thumbs down. Thumbs down at the instant are not many times given with the aid of the individuals answering the questions particularly while there are that many!!!
