After hearing a news story this morning on my local news station, I am just curious.......?

Would you volunteer to be deployed to the Middle East so you could go over with a family member/significant other??

[The news story was about a young woman who had already been deployed once & she volunteered to go a second time so she could go over with her brother.]

That would be a hard choice...on the one hand, I would want to be with my brother, but on the other hand, there is nothing worse than losing a child, except losing 2...

Yes, if you loved your family member enough, it is a very brave and courageous act of love and kindness.

I wouldn't want to put both of us in harms way. Particularly for the current "Commander-in-Cheat".
