Pregnancy - a blessing and a curse?
Hello everyone! If you're like me you have a love/hate relationship with your pregnancy and changing body. What is one thing you absolutely love about pregnancy and one thing you distinctly don't like?
I'll start -
I love the extra attention I get (at 8 months pregnant). For example, I've never received so much help at the grocery store! I even got help carrying my groceries out to my car!
But...I hate my cankles! I can handle everythign else, but please Lord give me my feet and ankles back! Where does the calf end and the ankle begin? Who knows!
Haha Alexandria - truthfully I also hate everythign about pregnancy but I'm trying to be optimistic!! :)

Im 32 weeks pregnant:
I like the closeness I have with my husband at night when we lay down to go to bed and he gently rubs and kisses my belly. I love that I finally have boobies :)
at I hate that I cant get comfy night and that Im pregnant during summer where the temp gets up to 120 degrees. (I know that I gave you two reasons each but I couldnt decide - which is another thing I hate about being pregnant - Im indecisive)

I love everything about being pregnant until I am actually pregnant! And then, when it's over I actually kinda miss it! lol. With my first pregnancy my big hate was I had a really bad pregnancy rash and felt like a leper. I couldn't go outside b/c the heat and humidity (summer time in Texas) made it worse! With my second pregnancy I hated that I gained SOOOO much weight! It all turned out perfect and I am now missing being pregnant just a little bit, at least until the next time! lol! Congratulations to you!

I love the simple fact that being pregnant means in 9 months a new person will join our family. Someone totally unique!
I detest morning sickness! Mine lasts for almost 5 months and it's 24/7. Because of the sickness I spend a lot of time on the couch, I can hardly cook for my family and I'm just not fun to be around because I don't want to go anywhere or do anything.

I love the fact that my son is going to have a sibling to (hopefully) protect and love. I love that now that I'm showing and work as a bartender part time, I get what I call sympathy tips. I have never made more money than now that I'm pregnant, lmao!!!
I absolutely hate the fact that its 1 million degrees outside and I can't cool off with a couple Corona's! I miss my beer the most. Corona is the other man in my life and I'm having serious withdrawals!!!!

I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant with twins. I love looking at the little babies on ultrasound. They are so adorable and so active!
I hate vomiting and/or feeling nauseaus 24/7. I pray every night for the morning sickness to go away.

I loved feeling her kick and move inside of me. I liked the extra attention too.
I hated everything else. The throwing up, the heartburn, the body changes etc, etc, etc,
BTW-Once they are here and they get a little older, everything is pretty good about being a mom.

I'm 19 weeks and I'm not showing yet, so for me, the thing I'm looking forward to the MOST is to having my pregnant belly and feeling the baby move inside. I can't wait!!!
The worst part (the part I'm DREADING) is labor. I've never gone through it, since I'm a first-timer, but just the idea of it makes me reaaaaaaally nervous...

For me the only blessing in pregnancy is the final outcome. (getting the baby) I hate everything about being pregnant.

wow!! you are right about that.
but for me it was the fact that it brought my husband and i closer together and the other kids could not wait for her arrival.
what i hated was the fact that i was unable to walk after the seventh months she was on my ligaments and all i got were muscle aches and cramps, but it was worth it she is the most adorable thing right now ( she is now 4 yrs)

I love feeling my little girl wiggling inside me...especially the faces my husband makes when he gets to feel it.
The sickness is definitely on the top of my list of horrible things.
