Any Brown Coats in the Kansas City area?

Joss Whedon's birthday is coming up, June 23, and there are screenings across the country of Serentiy in honor of his birthday, with proceeds going to his favorate charity, Equality Now.

Does anyone know if there will be any screenings in the Kansas City area? Or are there any Brown Coats around here holding any kind of even?

Thanks for the info, but I already checked those sources! (and just recently liked up the the MySpace page too!)

I was just wondering if there might be newer info, or if anyone in KC area has any inside info!

    I didn't see any screenings in Kansas City, but there might be one close. I enclosed the link to the event. The Firefly fans have a group on myspace.com (of which I am a member) that is called Firefly: Nothing Like It In the Verse. You might be able to find more info on what's happening near your city.
