Beliefs are simply thoughts and not likely very original. The only test I use is application. At this point in time when I am approached about an idea, I simply begin by seeing how it fits in with what I know about the Universal Law of Attraction, the Law of Allowing, and the Law of Deliberate Creation as taught through Jerry and Esther Hicks. I have never found anything which works better for me. It is my truth. Yet , I am open to expansion beyond the evolution of same, not that there exists a personal need.

Can I start here by saying that I have NO BELIEFS. But many years ago when I was a child I believed in God. Without any proof of his existence. For some reason, (and I didn't come from a religious home, my family were not connected to any church and I never went to any church myself) My primary school taught the bible stories although it wasn't a Catholic school only a christian based moral school. Whose motto was 'Learn to live'. They didn't inflict us with there views, but only told the stories that anyone can read today. We drew pictures and wrote our small essay's. From the age of 12 onwards, I didn't give belief much thought at all. The idea of God always watching me was somehow ingrained into my being. It didn't stop me from doing bad. I made mistakes in life and paid the price. Then during my late teens and early twenties came the hugh influx of eastern religious practices. By my thirties I was meditating. Trying to come to some understanding about life, it's meaning, purpose, it's reason's for being.

Today, I have no beliefs, the future is written as we live it moment by moment. There is nothing to believe in. There is only being. To strive to become perfect is the goal of the one's who desire to escape suffering. There is an understanding that by following a certain path one can attain freedom from suffering. By becoming more perfect is the only way to free oneself from all suffering, first the mental suffering of ignorance, and then the ability to cure one's physical ills by the power of self healing.

So for me, what is there left to believe. All is known and proven. All that is left is for all to do that. To become perfect.

    hey edy,

have you read "Toward the Light" ?

there are so many that know that connection or relation to their creator as a child only to leave God behind because things are imperfect or not as they thought or they haven't figured it out yet or they've figure wrong or taught wrong or because of other people's example (behavior) of how God should be (coersion, manipulation, guilt, thievery, control, murder).

you have a need to believe in something because you are part of a greater entity and there is certainly more than this life. please don't put away God because of the actions of others or your own pride or ego (doubt).

from "let there be light", God has declared the enlightening salvation to all people, everyone past present and future. you will make it back home with God, it has been promised, this you can believe in.

but if you believe, act accordingly. faith will produce actions in line with the belief. if you believe God is, God's reality will become your reality. If you believe Jesus came in that mission of love (to live love so as to overcome darkness, not to die for your sins), you will be feeding the hungry, visiting the sick (healing), defending the helpless, blessing them who curse you, praying for them who spitefully use you............

God has given all a conscience (it means "with knowledge"). this is, if you believe (listen to it), the way you can receive God's influence toward the Light (doing right). your conscience will never tell you to do wrong. if you are "receiving messages" of evil, this is either an outside force of evil from another or your own human evil thoughts. it's the same with everyone.

is it for us to fight the Darkness with the Light. this is our salvation. it is from God and Jesus has confirmed it with his life. this you can believe.

get the book for your full story.

    see ya

There is no single truth. There is only faith in the structure of your belief system.

If there is evidence to prove it. Any belief system that is based on events that didn't happen is not worth believing in.
