Should the BBC have apologised to the Queen?
The BBC has apologised to the Queen after showing footage of her storming out of a photo shoot. But should the BBC really be made to feel guilty about showing the footage?

They apologised because she didn't storm out. They showed footage edited by another company, out of sequence, that made it look as though she did.

I don't believe anything of this, i think it has all been turned around so she doesn't look like a "Drama Queen"
If you look at the video, which they are now claiming that she was walking IN on, (instead of OUT) you can see that she is walking AWAY from the big rug that her chair was sitting on.
I think the queen ordered them to take the rap so she does not look bad.
I would have had more respect for her if it was just kept how it was, Who dares to tell the queen what to do! I found respect for her when i heard the story yesterday morning, now apparently the BBC have lied, it think its just silly.
Give me all the thumbs down you want, (oh my god i went against what the queen has said is a lie! shock horror!) im just giving my opinion of it.
How can they make such a error, from taking the end part of the filming (where shes walking out) cut it, and place it into the part where she walks out in a huff. Surely that would take alot of editing, which would mean either, the BBC done it on purpose, or the queen is lying! Hmm which sounds more believable....

They decrease the action picture and made it appear as if the Queen became storming off in a temper after being asked to do away together with her gown because it appeared "Too dressy". She became in actuality heading interior the path of the photographer to take a seat down for him. The BBC has suggested sorry. must be an exciting speech from her this Christmas then eh.it would be humorous if it have been given a point out.i'm hoping she sits there in her curlers and dressing gown and fluffy slippers with a dirt p.c.. on her face.

The BBC apologised because they showed something which had not happened.
Even if the sequence had happened in the order in which it was shown, they had no right to make a spectacle of an elderly lady being a bit grumpy. Even a Queen should be able to have off days - I know I do and I'm right at the bottom of the elite heap.
We all like to be shown at our best, and it must be very wearing for a lady in her 80's to have to go through all that rigmarole. To screen a blatant lie when the person involved is in no position to answer back is downright reprehensible.
Henry VIII would have had them all in the Tower!

The BBC, the worlds biggest and oldest broadcaster, should have known better. I think it very remiss of them to make such an error. A blunder beyond belief.
HM has given the BBC over the years almost unprecedented access to her Court. Not sure if the same will happen in future. It's highly likely that HRH Prince Charles will want to take revenge on Nick Witchell, the most hated red-head in at the Court of Chas.

The Queen should know that the BBC are just doing there job when they come out with cameras. they have jobs to keep and families to feed and the selfish and grumpy old women can not respect that?
I say why was lady dye found in a Mercedes Benz???
Because she would not have been found dead in anything else.
I will have to do a blog on the queen and how she is to old to look happy.
Paul Keating put his arm around the Queen's waist, put his hand on the the Queen's shoulder and Paul Keating kisses the Queen on the cheek. Paul Keating apologised and that is why he is no longer the Prime Minister.

It's not like she needed any additional help to look bad, most of the public never got over how she behaved when Diana died. She knew she was being filmed and that it would get out so I don't think the Beeb were wrong.

Too right they should have done, and I hope someone gets sacked over this. The film was edited so that it looked as if she flounced out.
