I think the mountains are by far the best thing about living in the Denver area. And I disagree with the person who said that they, (the mountains), get old really fast. The mountains are beautiful and they're easy to get to from the Denver area.

Things I don't like are the cost of living and the fact that the state is so dry.

Favorites: Proximity to mountains, comparatively few bugs, mild weather. (Rains every day for an hour in Denver? Bull!)

Least favorites: Most of the people, traffic, out of control development, too many Californians, cost of living.

i lived in westminster, which is north of the city.

    I LOVED:

quick drives to the mountains, boulder, red rocks, etc., etc.

    winter park, ski resorts

I did not like: all the lazy people who don't want to work.

the city of Denver is surrounded by a brown cloud of smog; it's hard to breathe in the city. i heard they recently made it legal to possess marijuana inside the city limits of denver (but it's still illegal in the state of CO).

the best thing about colorado is the scenery. the outdoors are awesome; air is clean, crisp, inspiring.

I live an hour south...there is tons of stuff to do here, esp. outdoors. It is very pretty. The bad parts are: getting used to the altitude...and i found out last weekend, by the zoo, there is NO parking!

I hate the bastard drivers. I hate the heat. I hate how friggen expensive everything has gotten.

I love the mountains. I love that I can ride my bike all year round. I love the auto racing out her. And I love my friends.

However, As soon as I get rid of my business, I'm outta here.

Beautiful mountains - but that gets old really fast.

The weather is horrible - everything is brown almost all of the time - dirty - landlocked - have spent a lot of time in the area and would NEVER move there!!!
