What do you think is worse: to commit perjury as US General Attorney or to Stay Over tourist visa in US??

Of course it is worse for a US General Attorney to commit perjury, but all is forgiven when it is a crime committed by a US citizen. Its even OK to shoot someone and then lie about it. The word to describe this is "hypocrisy".

You have a point. Obviously perjury by the US Attorney general is definitely worse, extremely shocking even. Yet people are more upset about immigration, and many of them simply overstayed their tourist visas. I'd be willing to bet a few Americans in other countries have done that.

It's worse for a U.S. Attorney General to commit perjury than for someone to overstay a tourist visa. Because the perjury is threatening our entire system of Constitutional government.

Personnally, of course perjury is a crime but I would not compare it to a stay over tourist visa in the U.S. -

From your profile, you are worried sick over the question. You are probably in that situation and I do not want to judge you or anything. I'm certain there are attorneys that could help you about immigration and advice you on how to proceed. This is a long process but with faith and perseverance, you could get probably a green card temporarily if you can prove someone is willing to employ you. I think it would be worth your time and money to get that advice rather than worry sick over the situation.

Worse for the US Attorney General.

This is not an either or proposition. Both are violations of the law and should be dealt with accordingly. However, the US attorney General cannot be charged with perjury as he never was placed under oath. It may also be that what he stated was actually what he remembered. You try remembering every conversation you have had with a group you talk with on a regular basis and then name the topics of discussion on a given day accurately.

The Attorney General is the chief law enforcement officer in our country. Definitely not good.

Definitely worse for a trusted official to perjure himself. No question. ONe has been entrusted with a position of authority and is expected to behave with the interests of an entire country in mind.

I wonder if our att. general really did over stay his visa or maybe he just sneeked in like the rest.

Of course it is worse to commit any crime as US General Attorney.

However, a crime is a crime no matter what.

But what else would you expect when he has ties to La Raza and MEChA.
