Has anyone been to Provence Town in Paju? Is it cheesy or does the lavender/france thing really work?

We are planning on stopping by after a day at Nami Island, but I fear that it might go the way of LotteWorld?

Update:

Never mind.. I just got back. The answer is: It is cheesy. Plenty of photo-ops with faux French decor and you would be hard pressed to "smell the lavender in the fields" as the tour brochure suggests. Lots of over-priced "french boutiques" selling the same stuff you see at Muju Resort or Yangpyong gift shops.

The artist's village in Paju made the day worhtwhile though. very cool architecture.. haven't seen anything like it before.
