I use an egg all the time-sometimes two per Ramen packet. I love how the egg cooks instantly-and the taste-yummmmmmy.

I've never done it with ramen, but I have done it with rice and yakisoba noodles. There are a few ways you can do this...
1- Boil your ramen and scramble your egg. Slowly drizzle the egg into the boiling water. You will have an egg-drop ramen soup.
2- Boil your ramen like normal. Strain and throw noodles in a pan with a pat of butter. Create a crater in the middle and pour your scrambled egg in the middle stirring constantly on med-hi heat. This will give you something like a stir-fry noodles with bits of egg in there.
Either way, the egg will take on alot of the ramen flavoring and might add a bit of texture and bulk, but not a ton of flavor.
Good luck! :-)

Yes! Just like Egg Foo Yong
Oriental Oven Omelet
INGREDIENTS
2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles
1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
2 teaspoons canola oil
1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
4 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced, divided
2 tablespoons minced gingerroot
3 eggs
6 egg whites
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
DIRECTIONS
Discard seasoning packet from ramen noodles or save for another use. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse in cold water; transfer to a bowl and set aside.
Meanwhile, in a large nonstick ovenproof skillet over medium heat, cook celery in canola oil for 1 minute. Stir in the mushrooms, 2 tablespoons green onions and ginger; cook and stir for 7 minutes or until mushrooms are lightly browned. Stir into noodles. Whisk the eggs, egg whites, sesame oil, sugar and salt. Stir into noodle mixture; spread into an even layer in the skillet. Cook on medium for 2 minutes. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until set. Cut into wedges. Sprinkle with remaining green onions. Drizzle with soy sauce.

U mean instant noodles? Sure, dish in a fried egg..u could even add in veggies, prawns or fish slice into the boiling hot soup!..& voila! u have a balanced meal!
PS : But do not eat it too often as it is high fat content. If you could, buy those that are fat-free or non fried noodles!
Bon Apertit!

My grandmother when I was growing up made her grandchildren something simalar to that. She used to boil the smallest noodles then add eggs to it. It was a hit when I was going up. I also make it for my grand children and they love it. So my answer is yes and I think its great. I add grated cheese to it.
