Apparently Selfridges has them on sale as well. I cant believe they are doing it so early. Last year when they were on sale in September i thought that was to early but August ...come on shops sort yourselves out. Even though Christmas things are available to buy now i certainly wont be buying any until the end of November after my sons birthday. Also around the end of November Christmas stuff is a lot cheaper as they have not sold as much stuff as they need to so flog it off cheap to get rid of there excess stock.

I love Christmas! In my opinion it is the best holiday ever... in December! Not August! Christmas stuff used to come into the shops after I went back to school, so kind of late September but things are already coming out and I have 3 and a half weeks left of my Summer Holidays! Love Christmas but at least wait til Autumn.

Let's see, since fall clothes go on sale in the spring, winter clothes are available only in the summer, and I can never find a bathing suit unless it's 20 degrees out, it doesn't strike me as odd anymore. Halloween stuff goes on sale the same time as back to school supplies, and Christmas stuff is in the same aisle as the Halloween candy. Do you think we rush the seasons or what?

Well I guess its nice for people who want to get it done with in order to enjoy the holiday season, like myself, as long as its not overboard. If, however, they're already putting up decorations and/or have Christmas stuff for sale everywhere that is a bit nuts.

It's stupid! I think they are doing that because they know more tourists will probably come to London for sightseeing and stuff in the summer holidays so they want to draw attention so the tourists will buy stuff from there before they go.

sorry, don't do christmas in summer or winter!!! It's all fro the money, & has nothin at all to do with salvation or the birth of the savior. Oh, the saviors true birth date is closer to now though that it is in the winter. It sure isn't 12-25!!!!!
