One of my friends had one when we were in the 8th grade and this absolutely worked she took a top from a chap stick and rolled it until it was gone, I was so shocked.

  • A hickey is just a bruise so in the first 24-48 hours you should ice it. After that (where you are now) put moist heat on it for about 10-20 minutes at a time several times a day. I just take a wash cloth and wet it with really warm water and hold that on it and massage it a little. It won't clear up totally in 24 hours but it should lighten it significantly within a day or 2. Use a thick yellow-based concealer to cover it up for tomorrow!

Try taking some sort of bottle cap and twisting it around the hickey over and over until it's gone. This gets the blood flowing to that area, so it will be less red. It worked for my friend when she had a hickey before the day of prom. Good luck!

lol, oh i hated that, it sucks, ummm....ice it to help reduce any further swelling and discoloration and other than that, just wait it out, come up with a good excuse, or laugh it off, that's what I had to do! sorry hon, good luck!

I had one when i lived at home and was terrified for my parents to find out,so i told them i got hit with a paintball in the neck and the fell for it. So my suggestion is to go play a game of paintball with some friends and then you have a good excuse.
