Is it possible to have your iq raised?

I scored 101.7 in a test in my own language, but an expert told me once that our iq's are determined by the art abilities too which are not included in the test. I was never good at math but I draw very well and write poems, does that mean my iq should be higher?

Update:

Thanx guys, because I was beginning to worry. I write so many things, I am creative and I really use a lot of details in my drawings which are in fact really really good. I am good in making things, telling jokes, imitating people and telling quotes of my own. I know 3 languages. I didn't get it why my IQ result was so low, it was just not me.

While it is technically possible for your IQ to increase in an appreciable amount, IQ doesn't really change. Your IQ score is relatively stable, no matter what education you acquire. Don't worry. IQ tests are only one imperfect method of measuring certain aspects of intellectual ability. The value of IQ tests is that they measure general cognitive ability, which has been proven to be a fairly accurate indicator of intellectual potential.

    * A lot of critics point out that IQ tests don't measure creativity, social skills, wisdom, acquired abilities or a host of other things we consider to be aspects of intelligence.

IQ tests are a scam, I know people who are brilliant at math (which is what IQ tests are primarily based on) but as thick as two short planks at other things.
