Do you think its possible that the voices schizophrenics hear can be influenced by Satan?

That used to be a commen theory, but I dont think anyone believes it anymore. I dont think they ALL our voices of demons, but some might be: As a wise man once said, madness is the gate through which we veiw demons. Or in this case hear, but thats beside the issue.

So basically, demons CAN speak to schizophrenics, but they would be hearing voices anyway if there was no demon.

You know, in order for you to have an educated answer to that question, you really should know a bit about the history of the human brain. I'll only take you back to about three thousand years ago.

Before modern man developed into a conscious thinking being, we weren't much different than instinctive animals. We acted upon impulse and without any notion of guilt or reason.

It was called having a bicameral brain. There was a professor , years ago, who discovered that the link between prehistoric man and modern man, had little to do with species type, but more so to do with the evolution of the human brain. We were using our brain as a two sided separate entity. The left and right sides could not communicate with one another, like they can today. Instead of the left side giving the right information to reason with, it would give it to that side of the brain in the form of a suggestion or command.

Usually this command was heard by the person as a voice, a deep voice, speaking to them as if coming from out of no where. This is much like the way the brain of a schizophrenic works. They're brains are working in separate parts, instead of working as a unit.

About three thousand years ago, when those voices stopped for modern man, they developed the most awesome form of evolution and reasoning...conscious thinking. They became aware of their existence and began to use the metaphor to describe things. This is why it was so long, before actual books were being written, or creative paintings were being brought about.

So, with all of this, no I do not believe that any schizophrenics

are hearing the voice of the devil; I think, and it has been documented, that their brains have slipped in to a sub-bicameral mentality. Also, isn't the essence of the devil just a state of mind itself? Funny how a question could turn into a question. I think the correct question you have in you is, how do we connect with the higher powers or that universal consciousness?

Possible. Some may have actual damages or chemical imbalance that cause the brain to hear auditory sounds, while yes, there could be some that are brought on by Satan. I would think most are due to the chemical imbalances though.

You do realize that because of Satan and his fallen angels / demons is why there is sickness in the world period. Prior to Satan, Adam and Eve and the whole garden of Eden incident, there was no sickness in the world nor was their the curse of death.

Well sometimes it is. You remember when Eve was tricked by Satan to eat the fruit. That's the same way he can trick someone else. He can talk to them and some people will think it's God. Like I've heard many stories that go something like this. A parent killed their child and they tell the police God told them to do it. of course we know God didn't tell them to do it, Satan did, or they probably lied. So I'd say Schitzos do hear voices from Satan. God Bless!!

the only thing that should be in the spirit is nature working... it works in whispers that few humans hear.... we emit spiritual signals that nature picks up... all life does that... with this nature acts reacts seeks balance and heals... just goes about it's work. all those words we are hearing come from the inundation of humans filling their bodies and minds with religious dogma... over and over again so nature can't read us, and nature can't heal us...voices come from religion that is what makes both their god and their Satan..

I've always believed in that. Except I think they are spirits, not Satan.

Anyone who rates me down, please explain why 6 years of antipsychotics ( at relativley high doses), therapy and hospitalisations did nothing for the voices and hallucinations.

I think it is possible as Satan and his demons can do many tricks to harm people and their souls. However, I am more apt to think that it is mental illness and nothing more.
