Are Brits really Brit?

As an American who has recently done business with Brits who travel here to America, I feel I must ask this question. In a it actually revealed that most Brits are so dissapointed that they have their business established in England, and actually wish they could do business permanently in America. Can this be right?

A much bigger market in the US and better tax incentives make it easier to do business than in the UK, the down side is being self employed means you have to provide your own health insurance which can be expensive, and working with Americans who are without doubt the most hair brained ***** on the planet, if there is way of making the job difficult, they will surely find it!!!

Whiskeyman, most bars in the cities are now open until 2am, pubs/bars outside still close at 11am, but your bars are no where near as good as the British pub and also your beer ( if you can call it that) sucks big time!!!

    Put it in perspective.

The UK is the size of Texas (roughly or maybe a tad smaller), and it's isolated by water from most other neighboring countries. Here there are 49 other country-sized states to easily do business with, to say nothing of Mexico & Canada.

England also has higher inflation and unemployment than the US, and arguably worse immigration issues.

Plus with the Pound to dollar ratio being well in their favor, who wouldn't want to do business in the US?

And hey! Our bars are actually open until 2am! Those Brits gotta love that since their pubs close at 11 (if memory serves).

That'll be due to taxation. Although I'm a lefty and think high taxation is the way to build a fair and prosperous society, it's understandable that many disagree given that it's hard to tell at the moment where all our hard earned cash is actually going- the schools are crap, the hospitals are crap, we can't even empty the bloody bins regularly...

Well, America has much lower taxes. So, yes it makes sense to do buisness there.

But, America has no national health service. So there's ups and downs.

Well the royal family sure isn't British. They're German and had to change their family name before WW!.
