Should you give a tip to the person who sold you the winning scratch-off ticket ?
Not the Lottery, but stratch-off ticket, $500 bucks? Please answer for my friends and I are unsure. Some say yes, most say no. HELP!
The person who sold me the ticket is the store owner. However, he is the only person I am willing to buy Lottery tickets or stratch-off tickets from.

It's only the polite thing to do, I would definatly give him 10%, you don't have to, but I would.

I don't see why a person should get a tip for selling you a ticket. Winning or not. That's his job. And it's not a job you get tips for. If you do buy a winning lottery ticket there he already gets a bonus from the lottery. Would you tip him for selling you a coke that had a free coke under the cap?

It is not customary to give a tip to the store employees. The store owner already gets money from lottery sales.

not sure if its about should like waiters. Personally i would and have with a 100 win why not u got a windfall should share I ceratanly do at casino though sometimes they can't take it.

No. Its the luck of the draw.
They are not entitled to your winnings.
If they give you a losing ticket will they give you some money back.
If you think you should, do it.

You don't have to but I always do . give them a gift certificate or something. It isn't a law you have to but just something nice.
