In cheesy movies cliche to have scientist wear glasses.

This is nearly universal. An example is the X-files. Whenever Scully or Mulder were being nerdy, their characters always wore glasses.

In Jurrasic Park, Samuel L Jackson, a nerdy scientest wore glasses.

My favorite, example of this is in the "Hulk" when we are first introduced to Bruce Banner, who is a scientist, wearing glasses, which is supposted to make the audience instantly think that he is smart. (I could not stand that movie.)

Also, Scully always had her blouse buttoned to the top button, because she was a "good girl."

Smarter than everybody else put together.

Example: Young Thomas Edison, starring Mickey Rooney.

Crazy like a loon and unable to understand why normal people are fearful.

    Example: Frankenstein.

Unable to communicate except with aliens and other scientists.

Example: Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Just watch old, bad horror movies. The scientist is always the one who wants to communicate with the alien/monster/mutated whatever. They are also usually the first one to get killed. OR they are the ones who want to dominate the world using evil resources. OR they are the one who invents something for peaceful purposes, & have it hijacked for something else. Good Luck & Blessings
