26.2 Miles and I ran because at the end there was a medal and some water.

26.2 miles plus whatever distance between my hotel and the start/finishing line.

I run marathons on regular basis because I love the sports of running and because I still can do it. It is something that is wonderful to me, and I love to go to different cities to run marathons as a walking/running tour of the city. Secretly, I also enjoy raise havoc for the resident as I jam up the traffic and trash the city with bottles and cups.

I ran 17 miles once for fun. It was a summer run that I did with some college friends

15K (9.3205679 miles). Just an annual race that I like to do to test my physical abilities. I try to run 1-5mins faster every year.

To California (from New Jersey). I was running from myself. I don't know if this counts, cuz I drove but it's what came to mind when I read your question.

I have walked a round trip of 28 miles before. I didn't feel like driving.
