AT LEAST one month, to be safe you should wait two.

Even if your ears don't feel sore anymore, you can't be sure that they've healed from the stretching.

And never skip a size, it can stretch your ears too fast and it takes longer to heal.

    Good luck!

Source(s): I have gauges and look up info on them.

That is up to you. I usually would wait about a month but I also skipped gauges. My boyfriend changed his every week. It depends on how fast your body heals and also your pain thresh hold. Have fun!

that is completely up to you..everyone has a different pain tolerance..for me, i waited about a week and a half or until there was no pain to go to the next size, personally i think a month is too long, but i guess if you want to be extra safe then go that route..good luck and happy stretching!

it really all depends. make sure it has at least stopped hurting cuz if you go to fast you will rip your ear. also you would risk gangreen and that would suck. i did mine relitively fast though and they turned out fine.
