i am on the birth control pill and was on antibiotics..?

called doxycycline. what is the chance of me getting pregnant??

    Didn't your Dr. tell you to use another method of birth control while on antibiotic therapy?

    Have a pregnancy test done after a month has gone by.

    I don't know what the percentage would be, but antibiotics can mess with the effectiveness of birth control pills. You should use a backup form of birth control for the rest of your cycle.

    Any antibiotic effects the pill. If you didn't use a condom and you were ovulating your chances are pretty high...

    This is why its important to always use a condom, even on the pill, and always ask your doctor if the medication he is perscribing will affect your pill.

    Wait until your next period is due and if no period comes, take the test

    There is a huge chance you could be pregnant! Antibiotics cause the B.C not to work properly.
