Sealed whole coffee beans that are about 2 years old. Throw 'em out?

Should I pitch them or can I grind them and maybe mix it in with the better stuff (Gevalia or Starbuck's for example). The bag has never been opened but they've been in a cupboard, not the fridge. Thanks!

You're not supposed to refrigerate coffee anyway. If the seal is still intact they are fine. I always mix Gevalia and Starbucks with regular coffee anyway, because it's pretty strong flavored on its own. And after you drink the coffee,THEN you can put the used grounds in your garden.

I would use them. smell the beans first, then smell 'em again after you grind them.

Use them in the garden as mulch.
