Surprise Birthday Party for Fiance?
I am trying to plan a surprise party for my fiance. I normally like to do fairly big things for her birthday. Last year, I took her to and art exhibit and then Atlantic City for the weekend. My question is: should I try to keep the same budget as last year, or tone it down this year because we are trying to save for the wedding?
Secondly, are there any suggestions? Anyone know of a nice lounge to throw this in NYC?

If you are saving for a wedding I would tone it down. Explain to her if she asks that you wanted the wedding day to be more special to her. You can still spend money just don't go over to much.
Can't help you with a lounge, I live in NC
Good luck

The Magnolia Suite. A romantic retreat, tastefully decorated with a queen size bed and mahogany furniture. This light and comfortable suite is reminiscent of Southern charm and magnolias. This suite offers a romantic hideaway with rich fireplace and a Jacuzzi tub that two people can relax in.

she shouldn't care how much you spend; thats not why your getting married (i hope) :) i would definatly tone it down b'c your wedding should be more important than a bday party! congrats :)
