a coment rather than question?

This is awesome here. I just smile to myself when i go to bed in the night thinking about how much i learn here and how much of comfort i get here knowing the infos that i actually wanted. I agree with you... these days are not like how they lived during the olden days when the mom helped the daughters and also the grandmums. All of them are now busy with their own life. Some for some selfish reason and some with some genuine reason. So ive always felt that id be self reliant rather than expect from someone who is actually not going to help. This question answer forum is great and i see women coming foward to help each other with what ever they know. That gesture itself shows a good sign. Of course there are some who stick to their theories which they throw out to hurt others or give wrong infos. But the majority are trying to help with the best which is to be appreciated. :-)

I am glued to this forum and most of my leisure time i spend here reading and answering. I am truly thankful to all those lovely mom around who give wonderful answers. I dont watch tv these days. In stead i sit here reading and knowing more. I am going to give birth to my second child and i want to do even more better when compared to what i did for my first :-)

It is a good thing when a person can go to others with their problems for help. Families are not like they use to be and I believe that is what is wrong with some families today. When I was married my first time I had lived overseas and really had noone but my husband to go to for help with the children. Some of the people on this site don't seem to care what they say. If they don't care then why waste their time giving such dumb answers? Some of the people here can and do give good advice. I sometimes can't believe that you can get advice from someone that you don't even know and most likely will never get to meet.

Women are busier outside of the home than they have been in the past. I live across the country from the rest of family. My mom runs a daycare out of her home, so she is very busy during the day. I think it is great that women come together to help each other when they see another in need! Plus, not everyone has the same experience, so a variety of stories and advice can be helpful in situations that are not so common in your family. Good comment!

It's always good when people can help one another. Even though it seems like a passive interaction. It can be more honest then if you ask someone you know face to face. Like "here the situation... is he cheating on me?" your mum, or frineds may say "No! Of course not! you are jsut being paranoid" But people reading the situation may see that your suspicions should be further investigated.

Wrong example, but I think you get the point.

I agree! It's so neat to see what other people think about all kinds of things. What I've found out ,surprisingly, is that we all have alot in common.... not so much in our lifestyles, but in the way we THINK!

Yes but some people give horrible answers that I truly hope no one takes to heart!

I really wish I would of found this earlier in my pregnancy. I'm glad I can ask questions about my daughter on here. Its also nice to be sort of anonymous so you never feel stupid asking anything!

Yes, it is, but it would be even better if there were no internet trolls on here giving stupid answers. One of the best sites for pregnancy/baby info is www.babycenter.com.

I think it's pretty good. I don't welcome all the negative answers usually given by those select few people but all in all it does help you out.
