Which is more annoying?

Ron Paul

Ron Paul supporters who think that they have received the answers to everything about life and if you don't see things the same way they or their leader-guy Ron Paul sees them then you are an uniformed tool of the media and the two-party system

It's a toss-up for me.

What do you think?

Update:

Tell you what Vlad, once Ron Paul goes with these three things, I will re-think my position on him.

He is all about how everything is in the US Constitution. Well, I want to see these 3 things from him.

#1, the US Air Force as an independent service is unconstitutional. I mean, right there, Article I section 8 it says raise an army and a navy, but nothing about an air force. As he likes to say, "It's right there!!"

#2, West Virginia is NOT a state. Article 4 Section 3, the state legislature and congress have to approve it, but it was made a state by executive order. As Ron Paul likes to say, "It's right there!!"

#3, he has to spell the word "choose" as "chuse". That's right there in the Constitution, too.

That's the deal. I want Ron Paul to get on national TV and say West Virginia is not a state. Then and only then will I know he is really serious about the US Constitution.

Update 2:

Vlad, as for point 1, actually, it does. Ammendment 10. It doesn't say that the federal government can, nor does it say that the states cannot. Thus, only the states can have a constitutional independent air force. The US Air Force has to go back to the Army.

As for 3, are you saying that something that is 220 years old is old and out dated? Isn't that the core document of our country? I mean, it's right there, throughout the document "chuse". I mean, in this country, that HAS to be the way that the government spells choose because that's the document that founds this country. And Ron Paul should be backing bringing back "chuse" as getting back to our roots as a country.

Trust me, for most of us, wanting to spell choose "chuse" would be one of his more sane ideas on how things should be.

Update 3:

Doesn't Ron Paul say that if it's not in the Constitution than the government doesn't have the authority to do it, so saying that the Constitution doesn't say that congress CAN'T raise an air force a view that would be opposed by Ron Paul?

    Ron Paul.

At least the Ron Paul supporters don't have the microphone and air time.

You wanna talk about blind obedience? What about the top 2 Democrats (Hillary and Obama)?

At least Ron Paul cares about the Constitution, and is NOT another "same as before" candidate like the rest are!!!

I don't understand why you hate him - perhaps if you elaborated more, I would be more sympathetic towards you.

    EDIT:

#1) But it mentions nothing AGAINST having an air force.

#2) You possibly have a point there.

#3) Over an archaic usage/misspelling of a word? Please.

So, is that your REAL reason for hating Ron Paul? Somehow, I doubt wanting to eradicate West Virginia as a state is your reason for voting "more of the same".

    EDIT:

Okay, maybe I can cave on some of these issues. But the fact still remains, that Ron Paul supports a whole hell of a lot MORE of the Constitution than his opponents do, and he is the only outspoken voice right now for many of the important essential freedoms that are being completely ignored by the other candidates.

I'll ask you, what makes you nitpick and attack Ron Paul so much, when there are numerous glaring faults in the other candidates you can spend time attacking?

Who is your "magical candidate" who will save this country? Name that candidate, and tell me why/how they'll help this country better than Ron Paul.

well i guess your right making the air force go back to the army air corp is not that big a deal , solved

so the west Virginia problem which way do you want to do it make it apart of Virginia , boom there it is ,

and as for chuse , well Websters includes words when they are common place in vocabulary and in print

while I'm not Ron Paul, id rather talk about how he amendment for income tax was never ratified , and is illegal

instead of talk about these weak things , come on cant you bring up some thing better

it is more annoying if a anti paul person says he is a loon rather than stating what they are for - like this "

I am for the continuation of the Iraq war ,over taxation of US citizens ,illegal Immigration, big govt , destruction of americans rights , gun control, corporate socialism, policing the world and free trade agreements which export the US economy overseas, over regulation by the govt ,etc - then at least me,as a ron paul supporter would see your point of view not just the sound bite you got off the box

the constitution does state tyhe govt has the right to provide security for its citizens so the air force is justfiable

I agree he is hijacking the word constitution the same way Fox News has hijacked the US flag and Republicans have hijacked patriotic songs as rhetorical devices.

I trust Ron Paul more than many of the other Republican candidates. I like how he is exposing corporatism. He is starting to sound like a broken record. I like him better than top lawyer/mafia background - Juliani, better than Stock market money Romney, better than 23% sales tax fair for the wealthy Huckabee.

More annoying is people calling themselves prolife but that only applies to unborn. Once a child is born they aren't of value to prolifers, or prolifers would be adopting 108 million orphaned children. No their privacy with their own blood is more important. Mothers who can only afford to feed their children and not themselves, can't afford another child that isn't wanted by anyone. Mothers need to be able to protect their own life so that they can protect their born children.

Women need to keep full rights, including the right to privacy. Women need to be able to choose with whatever her religion, what is best for her life and her family. Women need full medical options.

I like Ron Paul, and his supporters are very polite which is refreshing in the dirty world of politics. I'll probably support the Democratic nominee for president, but if Ron Paul is nominated by the Republicans I might be persuaded to switch sides.

Where did Ron Paul come from?

His name sounds like he hung out with vampires like Andy Warhol.

Does he paint his fingernails black?

Does he come from San Francisco?...

Or maybe from under some other rock?

  • 1 decade ago

He probably has as much chance as the other under funded nominees......he DOES make some good points ...

  • 1 decade ago

    Neither.

Your reasons for not supporting him are far more annoying and ridiculous.

One and the same, and its garbage.
