what was saddam's relationship with Turkey?

With Kurdish rebels in Iraq attacking Turkey, and a Turkish military incursion innevitable today, What was the Iraq-Turkey relationship like when Saddam was in power?

    Remember last gulf war we had to send all those Kurdish refugees to Guam? Saddam hated the Kurds, as does Turkey. But Saddam and Turkey were'nt the best of friends either. Saddam gave all his neighbors a hard time, we did them all a favor. Now they are making excuses to come in and split up Iraq amongst themselves. Isn't it strange how all of a sudden all the border countries are finding reasons to move into Iraq. There's alot of oil to be taken.

    There was no relationship. The Turks just hate the Kurds as much as Saddam did.
