Not to sure if this will ruin ur carpet or not.. it being a oriental one..

inside the house.. I use hot, and I mean hot steaming water.. put some in a towel.. laid it over the spot for about 5 mins. until I could handle it.. and removed it.. then used

several different products from 409, to professional rug cleaner, dish washer soap.. and one of them took it smooth out..

then while it was warm.. I scrubbed it .. repeatedly..

    then rinsed several times..

then put the hot steamy towel back on there again to try and take all the products out..

    it worked for me..

good luck... hope it doesn't discolor ur carpet.. it didn't mine.

it's best to have it professionally clean. the do it yourself thing can ruin it.

one the best ways to clean vomit off avg. carpet is scape up the excess with a non-metal spatula & ddustpan. then gently apply a solution of 1/4 cup baking soda & warm water. vacumm when dry.

hi, you'll probably have to rent a steam cleaner & do it.

The easy-off carpet steamers are usually for rent at some of the grocery stores.
