For Fundamental Christian Men...How do you feel about the U.S. having a woman president?

Does your church/religion not allow women to speak in front of a mixed group of men and women? Do you feel that a woman president would be against God's wishes?

Personally, I'm in favor of having a woman be president.

i have lots of opinions about this and reading some of the answers have really got my opinion juice running...

i think that it would be a great idea for a woman to be president especially the one we have running now... sure, she has some ideals that i don't agree with 100% but i am looking at this presidential race and seeing that i need to choose the best of two-three-four ( or so ) evils... and i believe that not only will we have one president to rely on, but two... experience in the white house is what we need.

as far as women running or controlling our country... it will hopefully turn this country around... someone wrote about sexual harassment suits... well... if we had more women in authority then there would be no gray area where inappropriate advances towards women would be... we could finally stand up and say.... this is acceptable and this is not... period the end...

keeping a man in the white house has brought us to where we are now!! how much worse does it have to get before we try something different...

the definition of insanity is to make the same choices over and over again and expect different results....

    power to the sisters!!!

If a person is qualified to be President they have a right to run. If I agree with them on the issues I will vote for them. I don't see how that has anything to deal with sex. The churches I have attended never had issues with women speaking to the church. I don't think that a woman president would be against God's wishes the Bible says that he appoints the government over us. I believe God can work in the government no matter who is elected.

Honestly!.... it will be interesting to see how it turns out.....it seems she has a little more fight (passion) then most of our previous presidents......let's just hope that fight is for the peoples best interest.

Now do i feel that a women president would be against God's wishes...Not at all.....only if it had to do with the church deacon ship......But as far as the presidency it really doesn't matter too much to me considering i believe God has been over looked on many decisions in the White House.....either way God has allowed whatever shall happen....its a part of the Grand Plan.

I just believe Presidents are Puppets that will be given some of the things they strive for as for Humanity sake..... but they are really governed by Ungodly higher powers that really leads them against there own conscious....only if people were aware of what really happens behind the scenes.....but then again to much information can put fear in people.......We all know who the prince of this world is.

We must pray for our people.....these are trying times.

May the grace of God be with you.

PS I don't believe i consider myself a fundamentalist...I just hope that i'm in his service.

    Shaper,

We do not have women speak in the Church services however, I see nothing wrong with a woman as President. I do NOT want Hillary as President but if she were elected then I would consider as much a President as any other that we have had. Probably more so then her "husband who was her puppet". Have a great week.

    Thanks,

    Eds

I do not think the USA as a whole is ready for a woman president. that includes everyone, not just FCM. I will never be ready for Billary Clinton. We had too much of this thing already.

  • Well, I'm fun and mental, does that make me fun-da-mental?

I like change. I'm republican but maybe change is good for once eh? I think a woman could the job. Perhaps what we need at the moment is a woman's touch in our political world.

Not a fundamentalist Christian, but I'm still not comfortable with the idea. Not for any inequality reasons, but because of the dangerous drop in morale it will cause. Sure, some people will become invigorated by the idea that we're so progressive, but others will feel uncomfortable serving under a woman Commander in Chief. This will lead to discontent and a great deal of minor and major societal problems which we're really not in a position to deal with.

That having been said, I would like it if America were ready, but it is clearly not. We see that in the sexual harassment suits, in the evidence of workforces with females in charge being less productive, and having a higher turn-over rate than those with males in control. It's a simple, ugly, brutal fact of life and where we are today. Yeah, we're getting better, but we're still not Utopian in our ideals.

I think you will find that the biggest majority of politics in America is fundamentally based.

My husband is a Christian. He is at work right now, but I know how he feels about it. He thinks the best qualified person should be president, regardless of gender. He is also pro-life.

I have no problem with it in principal, I just wish it was a different woman. Not that wretch, Rice either.
