I truly LOVE People. I was raised to treat others with respect and I try to do so at all. times. I had a NDE when I was in high school and that shaped many of my beliefs in the afterlife. I searched a long time for GOD and when I found HIM, I was baptized and became a Christian. That was nearly thirty years ago and I have never thought twice about it. I DO NOT push others to adopt my beliefs but I will tell you what I believe whenever asked to do so. Have a wonderful week and a glorious life! Christians, Do YOU believe the BIBLE to be God's Inspired Word?
I personally believe 2 Timothy 3:16-17 to be true. I also believe that God gave Moses the Ten Commandments not the ten suggestions. There are several members here who claim to be Christians that say many things contrary to God's Word. That bothers me a great deal. Have a great week.
Thanks,

27 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoReligious - Christians, What is the best sermon that you ever heard (or preached)?
I have preached for several years. I read and study other sermons regularly and hear others preach when I am not preaching. I have preached at four different congregations within two hours of our home in the last 5 years. I appreciate any information that you can pass along about such sermon(s). The title and supportive verses would be nice. Have a great week!

5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoReligion & Spirituality folks: Does anyone else have a constant "radio" playing music in their head 24 hours daily?
I am not a "nutcase". I have degrees in Mathematics, Physics, and Education. I have always been a lover of all styles of music. I have always got a song playing in my mind. When I taught school I was always singing or whistling when I was not teaching. I sang or whistled on the way to and from my job(s) also. Is it normal for a person to constantly have such "music constantly playing" in one's mind? I guess this may seem a bad place for this question but I respect many in this forum and appreciate whatever each one of you has to say on this topic. Have a great week! Thank You,

7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhy are some answers hidden on Yahoo Answers?
I truly do not understand who places one persons answers above another and why this should ever be done. I believe that all men and women were created equal.
4 AnswersYahoo Answers7 years agoAside from your present Religious (Spiritual) Belief, What other beliefs have you studied and researched prior to that time?
At one time, I was an agnostic, an atheist, then a Christian. Prior to becoming a Christian I nearly died and spent a week in the hospital. After that I began reading and studying everything I could find about religion and spirituality. I will not go into detail at this time. I want to hear your "story".

13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoReligion Question- Do you and your immediate family members all have the "same basic belief"?
For Instance: If you are Christian, are your brothers and sisters all Christian or are there some who believe otherwise.
One of my sisters is a Christian as am I but one of my sisters is not. We are simply Christians according to the Bible and stick closely to it. One of my brothers is a Catholic as are his children. (He married a Catholic Lady.) I appreciate EVERY ANSWER. Please try not to attack others while stating your personal belief.

8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoAre any diabetics looking for a continuous glucose monitoring device and have a story to tell?
I had an opportunity to get one this December. My "out of pocket expenses" were maxed out and I contacted Dexcom. Let me say this to you, Dexcom wasted my time, efforts, and energy. They "DROPPED THE BALL." Don't deal with them. There are other companies that deal well with patients. I have experience dealing with some good companies. Now, Do YOU need a CGM? What experiences do you have?
3 AnswersDiabetes7 years agoCan a non-profit organization write a donation for work provided?
We are a small congregation with minimal contributions. Our preacher has graduated from a couple of prestigious colleges and is a great worker for the church. Is it possible to write a document allowing him to take a tax deduction for the time, effort, and work he provides for our members and the church? I realize this is a truly a legal/tax question. Please answer if you are able. Have a great week!

1 AnswerLaw & Ethics7 years agoAs a Christian, How does one forgive a man who verbally degrades his wife?
My daughter was verbally called several nasty things on my dad's property by a man who was there when my dad was not. She left the premises. I got a phone call from the man that he was calling the police to report that my daughter and son-in-law stole something while they were at the property. My wife and I went to the property and I went inside to find witnesses. While I was inside he began screaming and cursing at my wife. She is a sweet Christian lady who said very little in response. I came back outside as he was finishing his nasty comments. When I got closer he backed away and left the area letting me know that he was "calling the police". We called our daughter and went to the police station to report what had happened. It is extremely difficult for me to pray for this man and ask God to forgive him right now. I saw him today and did not speak to him because of my anger. Please let me know how you would be able to handle such a situation.

5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhat Biblical reason is given for Baptism?
Please cite Book, Chapter, and Verse and tell what Baptism does according to that verse. I am a KJV fan but I will accept other versions in this answer. (I do know what my reason for being baptized was.) I do my best to follow what the First Century Christians did in their religious service. Have a great evening and a wonderful week!
