Should I be worried?
I'm 17, 5'3", and I've weighed 130 lbs since I was 15. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed that I seemed a little slimmer, so I weighed myself and I was 128. No big deal, 2 lbs that came off at some point when I wasn't paying attention. But today, I weighed myself and I weighed 120. Is it normal to lose almost 10 lbs in 2 weeks?
I don't think it's a healthy loss, because I haven't been eating better and, if anything, I've been more sedentary. HELP!

If you didn't change anything about your lifestyle then yes. Losing 10lbs that fast is a little concern. It maybe nothing, but it would be best to go to your Dr. to make sure, especially if it continues!
Good luck!

that IS a bit surprising. it's possible to lose that much weight so fast, but if you're bothered, then we should look into it. :D try weighing yourself again, you could have misread the scale once. did you use a different scale? using a different scale at each weighing won't give you a real picture of your weight changes.
hmmm, you said haven't been eating better, but have your eating habits changed (skipping meals, eating a smaller amount of food or fat/sugar/whatever-free food)? :D
and you know, being active isn't really limited to sports or dancing. it can simply be that you've been walking around school or your job more than usual. you may not have noticed, but you could have been exercising. :D
think about the past 2-3 weeks: have you been feeling that anything else in your body is amiss (tiredness, fever, cough, etc.)? or are you tired and stressed out? those can make all the difference.
if this goes on, or if you're still worried (it's great that you take care of yourself), you should go see your school nurse. :D
take care!

You may have hyperthyroidism. There is a laboratory test that can tell you if you have hyperthyroidism. A good weight for you would be 110 lbs, so once you get to that weight make sure you go to the doctor.

See your doctor, get it checked out. Sometimes loss of weight is loss of muscle - if you have been more sedentary, that could explain it - but always have it checked out, cover all the bases.
