(seriously) Can someone tell me why this answer was chosen as "Best Answer"?!?

Please check this out î

Am I missing something here? I don't think the whole voting community is stupid, so why is it that stuff like that keeps getting voted (and chosen) as Best Answer? I see it ALOT.

I mean, I could understand if it was an answer with a bunch of fake credits at the bottom (ie: "professional Logical Thinker Professor 4 years") or maybe just someone to happened to say what the asker wanted to hear (answering the actual question: optional), but this one I don't get! I seriously want to know if someone else does... I sense some foulplay here...

Update:

Wow. Is it that bad on here? Fairness gives way to whoever has the most friends? Sounds like high school. Isn't that considered "Point-Gaming"?

I would guess that it's because it was the first answer. It was chosen as Best Answer by the voters, and most people don't bother to read all the answers.... they just click on the first one, get their one point for voting, and move on to the next one. Sad but that's what I've noticed. Go to the voting section and check it out, the top one or two is almost always the one in the lead. They didn't even read it.

Source(s): Just MHO but I really think this is more likely than a group voting on their friends' answers. they would have to be some serious losers to have that be their method of socialization. It's really just people after fast points. ADD: That bottle question is a perfect example... look at the other answers again. Out of the 14 answers that are left over after the "Best," the two at the top have all the votes but two. those two further down are the few people who actually bothered to read all the answers.

Since it was chosen by voters it's highly likely that this was the first answer. It seems a lot of people when voting simply click on the first answer, no matter how bad, without even reading it just to get the quick one point. This is why I hate the voting system and wish more askers would pick the best answer themselves instead of letting it go into voting.

It was voted for, not chosen by the asker, so it could have either been the first answer & therefore more likely to get voted for [since voters are lazy .. they usually vote for the first answer regardless], or she may have had her contacts vote for her.

I would say they chose that answer as the best because they thought it was the best answer or because they didn't want to read all of the other answers. Plus, the asker didn't choose, the voters did.

wel it was voted on and it looks like they had friends help but that is also hard to tell.

when it goes to a vote any answer can be chosen but more than likely it wil be the first or second answer

The losers who have many accounts ask and answer questions to themselves and then all their alternate identities vote for their own answers.

Either they are friends trying to give each other points or they are just looking for the funniest answer. people like to look good, which is why they have all these dumb titles.
