Anyone recommend a very good restaurant for thanksgiving dinner near troy Mich. ?

My family always spent Christmas Eve at Marios Downtown. It is wonderful, I am not sure if they are open on Thanksgiving. They are open on Christmas Eve so I assume Thanksgiving as well. Happy holidays.

When I think of Thanksgiving, I think of Family. And, since I come from a large family, I think of "Family Sized Portions". And, food that is served "Family Style". The best place to get that in Troy is at Maggiano's on Big Beaver.

I'd call to make sure that they are open on thanksgiving, but according to their website, they are accepting reservations on that day.

Mario's is a great choice. (there is one in Detroit and one in Troy) Larco's and McCormick and Schmick are also great for adults. very nice.

Are there children involved?

If you want to stay in Troy, Maggiano's is probably the best choice. My 6 year old has eaten at the better establishments but is always more comfortable in a family atmosphere like Maggiano's.
