How much trick or treat candy did you buy but couldn't resist eating yourself?

Actually I don't buy Halloween candy any more because there are only 5 families that live on my dirt road. All the kids are grown now. Usually I keep a few little candy bars around at Halloween, just in case.. The other night though I went to a kids Halloween party to take pictures for a newspaper that I write/take photos for. There was "plenty" of candy to go around and they handed me a bag of candy just for coming! Like the kid I am when it comes to gifts and sweets,( on occasion) I went home and looked at my bag of loot and then happily ate a few of my favorites. I saved the rest.

The only creature I expect to see on Halloween night is possibly the black bear that comes to fill his face with birdseed before settling down for his long winter nap... .It will be just another quiet night in the woods...

Two bags-- one Hershey's bars, the other Kit Kats. Both GONE. My hubby has a bit of a sweet tooth, so I won't be restocking until the very last minute ; )

We go through this same routine every Halloween....

Actually, we never get trick or treaters. We go out with our kids. But I don't normally like the candy that they get, so I buy candy like we will have trick or treaters. Then we put it in the bowl and eat it a little at a time till we're fat and happy! So I guess my answer is all the candy (Snickers, Starburst, M&Ms, and Tootsie Rolls)

im 17 so i dont have little ones, yet i take my cousins trick or treating and that i went trick or treating no longer that some time past, and of direction they ate the candy and that i ate the candy and when I even have little ones, they're going to consume the candy. they didnt do all of that strolling for their candy to be tossed. why might you throw all of it out and purchase new candy? thats this form of waste of nutrition and money, in case your frightened approximately protection, there has by no potential been a unmarried case in american historic previous of somebody poisoning halloween candy, there became basically one case of a youngster getting unwell and it grew to become out to be the lads father who had poisoned the candy. in case your quite frightened, merely toss those that could desire to be tampered with or have ripped applications, a sealed kitkat cant be tampered.

My fiance and I bought a bag of tootsie rolls. There was 420 tootsie rolls in that bag, and we ate all of them in two weeks. Pretty bad, huh?! Also, we don't plan on restocking since we won't be home. It's our daughters first Halloween, and we've decided to take her trick or treating.

We have already bought about three bags of candy (two chocolate and one Jolly Rancher mix) and have about half of it left. We will probably have to restock with one more bag. Between my husband and kids, we usually have to buy about four bags prior to Halloween.

I've already eaten a whole bag of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. And yes I've already replaced 2 bags.

None. I'm sorry but I don't give out candy because it is not good for children. We have a huge epidemic with overweight youths and I will not participate in contributing to that.

None. I tend to binge on candy and then not eat any for a really long time. I am now in one of those really long candy breaks.

I sampled a few pieces, but not much.

I have back up goodies, just in case.
