(Expanstion of last question) Which is more entertaining? A gay bar or a straight bar?

Definitely a Gay Bar. I saw my first Drag Queen show and the Ladies were so kind. They let me backstage and showed me how they made up and pinned back. You ought to see the high heels! I'm glad I wear flats....

I don't believe there is such of a thing as a gay bar here. I mean there are like 7 bars that cater to the gay community, but they let everyone in... just like all the other bars.

The only difference, if I'm not in one of those 7 bars, I just don't dance. There's nothing worse than trying to twirl a drunk girl around a dance floor who can barely count, let alone step to a count.

We're a little different in Austin TX than most of the rest of the USA though. We don't have a gay district. the "gay bars" are scattered around here and there throughout the city, and, in general, we are very well accepted most anywhere.

Hmm.. I'm straight so I've never been to a gay bar before, but it might be nice not getting hit on by guys all the time.

a gay bar, always. sure, I go to straight bars, too. they are all around the neighborhood where I work. good food, good music....but just don't compare to going to a gay bar. I don't have to worry about anyone giving me grief about who I am. I can relax and enjoy myself. but, they are also just a lot more fun!

Gay Bars are so much fun, even when I shave my face & the guys start to ignore me, I wind up with all the ladies trying to buy me drinks, I love being able to pass as any gender, LOL.
