Makes me think of Daisey Mae from some old hillbilly show/movie!

    Allyssa Mae is cute though

I loovvveee the name Gracie. Although, I think if I were to have a child I'd have her actual name be Grace, and just use Gracie as a nickname. It sounds more professional. It just doesn't sound like a doctors name. It's more childish.

Grace Mae still sounds great, and you can always call her Gracie.

    Just my opinion though!

Hm... I like Gracie, and I like Mae. I'm not sure if I would put them together for one name. Maybe you could give her the name Gracie, have her middle name be Mae (personally I like that spelling better than like May the month). I think it would be pretty Gracie Mae *insert your last name here*.

It may seem cute at the time naming your daughter Gracie, but you will come to regret it later. Everyone will assume her name is Grace. I would just go with Grace and call her Gracie, but I see your dilemma, as Grace Mae don't flow. Try to find a different middle name to go with Grace and you will be set! Good luck and God bless!

I think it's nice. Way better than all these Madison's and Kennedi's and Addyson's that seem to be popular just now. It's sweet and old fashioned with out being stuffy (like Mavis or Norma). Since when did the letter i gat replaced by the letter y and vice versa in little girls names?

the name Gracie is good when you are 5 and under. I'd give the formal name Graciella, and nickname her Gracie.

I like it, but I like the spelling May better than Mae, that's just me though.
