It should be under the power settings. If you are running XP and go to it through start/shutdown to the three selections, suggest you go to the MS site and find the Knowledge Base to troublesoot if the power settings are no help.

Usually if the standby button isn't working, it is usually a problem where your computer can not work with the graphics card to put the computer to sleep. I would check to see if there are any newer drivers for you video card and hopefully that will fix the problem.

That depends is the button broken physicly or you know it is a problem with the computer
