Question/Opinion about Economics?

I need a more informed opinion on the two following points because I'm leaning towards both sides, and I would like to support just one.

1. The distribution of income in the United States is inequitable. [unfair]

-I believe that this is true is some areas of the US, but then again, I feel that it's also fair in other areas. So, what should my overall answer be here?

2. The distribution of the entire federal tax burden and the distribution of the burden of the federal income tax are appropriate.

- Once again, I feel that the tax burden on the rich is fair that they should pay more money because they make more money. However, there are many people who don't make as much money, but are forced to pay taxes that they cannot afford or is unfair for them.

Thanks a lot in advance for any help.

There are no answers, only opinions, to these questions. You and I and Bill Gates and Donald Trump would almost certainly have different opinions.

However, there is no question that the distribution of income has become much more unequal in recent years.

The best way to solve both situations would be to have a flat income tax, which would tax according to your income. If you make more, you pay more. And close a lot of the tax loopholes that too many of the rich hide behind. If there were a flat tax on income, we'd be able to do away with property tax altogether, making the poor working class better able to afford the homes they're paying for. <*)))><
