Killing or hurting animals is cruelty... Killing of unborn is freedom of choice?

Why do we call the “killing or hurting of animals” as cruelty to animals but the “killing of unborn” is only referred to as freedom of choice? Does it mean we have higher regard for animals' life than for the life of the unborn? While we speak of cruelty to animals, can’t we not also speak of cruelty to unborn?

    I Weep for You

    I weep for you

great tears that could fill an ocean

    I weep for you

knowing at three weeks you have a heart

    and at four a brain

    I weep for you

because they cannot hear your cries

    I weep for you

for you must know when they end your life

    I weep for you

for not being given a chance

    I weep for you

with trears streaming down my face

    I weep for you

knowing your death is the result

    of humanity's complete disgrace.

Taking drugs and drinking alcohol is cruelty to your body. Thinking about and pursuing the ecstasy of pleasure is violence against the human organism and also cruelty. If you don't even have regard for the body, why would you care about anyone else?

What is the common denominator? The idea of 'you'.

  • don't know who said that killing an unborn is freedom of choice ? Did they also said that putting that thing inside is a choice whether she is protected or not?

    Technically,the unborn aren't people. They're embryos.

As long as they're inside a woman's body they're part of it

and she has the right to choose whether or not to bring another human being into the world.

Freedom is a two-edged sword. People sometimes make choices that others regard as immoral, but it would also be immoral to take away the freedom that enables them to make

    those choices.

Well, I believe that abortion is murder, so to me, it's not freedom of choice. It's not "a woman's right to choose". It's not just her body she's choosing for. It's another human being.

    Quite a conundrum, huh?

    Or, is it a paradox?

I'm interested to read pro-abortionist's comebacks to this one.

Gotta agree with you. It's quite hypocritical isn't it?

when my cats step dad rapes her and gets her pregerz then i think it would be ok to abort the kitten or at least kill it once its born. I actually think that people do that any way (birth defects and all, ya know)

boy did u ever miss the nail and hit yourself in the face with the hammer...totally unrelated....abortion is a woman's reproductive right...birth is a woman's reproductive right....it is that simple and you will never understand
