Fonzie Chop yourself in the temple. Be careful, because even a slight chop off kilter from the temple could kill you. For proper technique, watch Happy Days reruns.

You do dream, you just aren't remembering them. Each night the body goes through a few cycles of REM (rapid eye movement) sleep that is the dreaming state. I find as you get older you remember your dreams less. I've gone through long periods of not remembering my dreams either and had the same thought. But physically, your mind does dream while sleeping even if you don't remember. A trick you could try is having someone wake you up in the middle of the night and I bet you would remember some of what you were just dreaming.

You haven't stopped dreaming, you've just stopped remembering your dreams. That's why you think that the only dreams you do have are scary, because we tend to remember vivid, scary dreams.
If you want to remember your dreams, try conciously telling yourself every night before you go to sleep that you're going to dream, and you're going to remember it. Keep a journal next to your bed so that if and when you wake up in the middle of the night you can quickly write down whatever dream you remember while it is still fresh in your mind. Do the same thing when you wake up in the morning.

You have been dreaming but you forget easily. The brain actually goes through 52 dreams while you sleep and they go from long ones to really really short ones as you sleep. So if you get up and write it down first thing in the morning you will actually remember it.

I haven't remembered a dream for over 4 years. I don't think it's serious (at least I hope so!) Supposedly you can write it down and remember it, but I don't even remember right when I wake up.

I'm sure you do dream you just don't remember them. I can go for months and not remember a single dream I've had.

Of course you dream, but you just can't remember it. if you are having bad dreams, try to relax yourself before sleeping by taking a warm bath, drinking tea or milk, lighting a scented candle(be sure not to leave it overnight), or leaving a glass full of water at your bedside table. and by the way, try not to think about something bad before sleeping because you will end up dreaming about it.

You may not be sleeping deep enough to dream. So how do you feel when you wake up? Do you feel rested? How well do you sleep? Are you grouchy when you wake up? If so your problem may be a sleep disorder caused by a chemical imbalance in your body.

You dream now just as much as you ever did. You just don't remember them as well.
