Australian question. Am I just being a cynical old man or does anybody else think the coalition is spending?

a fortune rigging phone-in polls on TV?

If the figures being produced really reflected the feelings of the electorate we would be wasting our time voting tomorrow.

What do you think?

I have said every time I see them, that Liberal party supporters must have nothing better to do than rig the stupid survey questions on phone in polls. I knew they were desperate but this is really very 'Hill Song' of them.

Considering who pays their pay packet when those phone calls were made , I would say those phones calls were rigged as most of the numbers were the same and not different so if a person rang the number it would auto make a lib or labor

yes I think that was phone in was rigged, but not the studio

Yes they have a team of Young Liberals on speed dial. The only real winner is Packer who owns the phone lines.I don't think Labor are that desperate, remember Howard's mantra that the only poll that matters is on election day-unless of cause you can buy the vote at 55 cents a minute.

Ted I agree straight after the debate on sky news it was a small win to Rudd the morning after it was a 65/35 win to howard and every debate sky news has had on after all followed the same pattern

Just like on here I suspect there are some Liberal party workers on here. Or should I say I am sure of it.

Hello Ted, Desperation calls for desperate measures and there is no one so desperate as John Bonn at the moment. (Mind you he has Janet in his ear telling him how good he is). The turkey is still running around annoying everyone telling them he is going to win. In your dreams Johnny. The way they are spending it makes one think they want to buy Telstra back.

they are using the media to distract your decision.

Just forget about what you hear or see. switch off your tv put aside the papers. Have a beer. go to sleep. Do not even dream. go to the voting poll with a clear mind... cheers

Hi Ted! I don't watch those programs, so can't comment, but it wouldn't surprise me, given their desperation!
