Do you agree with the war in Iraq?

No, not at all. There was no reason to attack this nation - which was secular, not extremist Muslim. Iraq had naught to do with 9/11 - the attackers were mostly Saudis and extremist Muslims. Hussein was not liked by the Islamic zealots and actually repressed them, along with others, in Iraq. He also acted as a balance against Iran and now that is gone.
Read 'The Price of Loyalty' and you will see how Mr. Bush was determined to go to war with Iraq well before 9/11. It has to do with US imperialism and getting a foothold in the mideast - and thus the oil. If freeing nations from tyrants mattered, why does US often support them (Pinochet, Papa and Baby Doc to name a view)?

If I look at the globe like a chess board, Iraq is a pretty good move.
I disagree with the war in Iraq.

I think we're spending way too much money on this war. I think we should invest in domestic security and start being a nation that is so upright that even the worst of nations would be ashamed of even thinking of attacking us. We cannot defend this nation with missiles and tanks alone we need the protection and blessing of God Almighty and if we don't have this then we will always be victims to a world that hates us.

No, no, and no.
If you can justify our war in Iraq, then you are justifying being attacked yourselves. Did Iraq attack us? No. And it'll be the same story when we go to war in Iran.
Plain. Simple.
Source(s): Some of you people answering this question are about 1000% INSANE. Especially the one saying we should have used nukes. - Anonymous1 decade ago
Doesn't really matter if I agree with it or not. We are there. We have to win. If we do not win a concise and total victory, and pull out early, they will claim victory over the US and terrorism will explode throughout the world.
So, to answer your guess I do agree with the war in Iraq.

No.
But I don't disagree with it either.
Succinctly put, I just believe that the public is largely unaware of the whole story. The only people who know what's REALLY going on are government officials, soldiers fighting in Iraq, and the Iraqi people.

I dont agree about how we have managed it. IM not sure if we should have been there to begin with. But now that we are there, it is right to start fighting this war properly and attempt to stablize the region.

Yes, we have to be in touch with the reality those Iraqi's are facing. We as a power nation must help people from the cruelty imposed on them by tyrants. They should have the same expectations of life as we do. Anything short would be unhumanitarian.

No, we aren't being tough enough. Wars are fought to create the conditions for peace. If we make the consequences of conflict with us severe enough we would not be attacked again ever.
We've got nukes and should have used them.
