How do I stop the swelling?
Yesterday my boyfriend went out for a jog and while he was running he hit his knee on something hard, he told me that there was a bump on his knee that wasn't like the other knee. It is a hard bump and i am worried that it might be dislocated, i told him to put an ice pack on it and he said it felt a little better but is there any way he can tell if it is dislocated or how to bring the bump down?

Ice is the only thing you can do for swelling except just wait it out. If you want to know if he dislocated it, you will need to go get an x-ray taken of his knee. It might be a good idea.
