Dislike
-He (my opinion alone) isn't trustworthy
-I am uncertain where his loyalty lies (with Conservatives or is it with the Democrats?)
-He isn't very photogenic (since Presidency campaigns are referred to as beauty pageants)
Zero chance of me voting for him.

Overall I like John McCain. I really like him as a Senator and leading voice in politics, but don't know if he would be the best president.
Main thing I like about McCain : He's a people's person. Ask liberals or conservatives and they all like McCain. He comes from a strong background and is a great speaker but an even better listener.
One thing about McCain why I wouldn't vote him president : He's a little too tight. Sometimes he seems too wrapped up in appeasing everyone - I'd rather he took a stronger stance on certain issues. Also, if he's debating, stronger personalities always seem to make him disappear.
Love the guy as a person and politician, but I feel like he's in the right position as a senator.

I like his character. He is an honest, conscientious guy with a lot of moral integrity. He goes off of principle and not necessarily what the republicans want.
I like that he has war experience. This guy is mos def a hero.
However, I hate the fact that he supports Bush's foreign policies. Bush is an idiot diplomat who has failed to create any lasting peace in the middle eastern conflicts and who's stance on terror is guided by a shoot em up attitude that hasnt done anything. What we need in this day and age is an intelligent and rational approach to foreign policy based on international cooperation and diplomacy.
For that reason alone, I will not vote for McCain. Not to mention he is old as ****. I think should McCain win the nomination we as the people of America should really worry more about who the vice president will be. Its likely that the vice president will end up in charge.

Probably wouldn't vote for him.
I like the fact that he served in the military and didn't have a cushy little ride like some high profile Republicans.
I don't like how he markets the fact that I just listed above as if to say that it is the only quality a person needs.

Like: He's an American hero and a solid legislator.
Dislike: Support for amnesty. But that just shows you how honest the man is -- despite campaigning for president, he stuck to his guns and proposed something unpopular.

I like that he seems to have a conscience, unlike many of his Republican counterparts, and that he overcame such a rough imprisonment as a P.O.W.
I don't like that he's supporting the failed international policies of our current President, and that he seems to be becoming semi-senile with some of his public comments.

I like his forthrightness. That he states what is on his mind, without pussyfooting around. (usually).
What I don't like was his stand on Amnesty, while denying it was Amnesty. That was where his forthrightness disappeared.
That issue alone makes it impossible for me to vote for him.
