My cat knocks over water bowl?

How do I make him stop? He's 8 months old. I have tried getting a bigger water dish so he couldn't move it. That didn't work. Some one suggested the squirt bottle technique. That didn't work. I don't want to deprive my other cat of water by putting it up. What now? I am so tired of cleaning water off the floor several times a day.

I have a very good solution for you. My cat Logan did the same thing, Gawd it drove me nuts.

I bought the Petmate Deluxe Fresh Flow Purifying Pet Fountain and that thing worked awesome!

Get the biggest one. It's quite heavy so he will have a hard time moving it. I set it up in the corner of the room so he has no place to push it.

The water is purified so it's healthier for your pet and the constant flowing fountain will give him the joy of splashing water without the big mess he'd leave before.

I swear by this product and the problem you have now is why I got it for my cats. Click on the link below to check it out.

My cats like to splash each other with the water in the dish -- they're weird like that.

I would suggest a nice heavy bowl -- even if you need to get a bowl that's not a typical cat water bowl ... something heavy and substantial

Oh, we had one of these. Our best solution was to use an 8 X 8" glass cake pan, a nice heavy one. It worked really well.

You can buy a water bowl that has tapered sides, and a weighted bottom...they're pretty much impossible to knock over.

get him with the water let him know he is not to do that if you have to i know this sounds odd but fill your sink with water that way he cant knock it over or put it on the floor. he will learn he is not the boss you are.

i saw a dog bowl @ pet smart that is weighted @ the bottom. that should work. i think there was rubber or some kind of non-skid stuff on the bottom, making it hard to turn over.

You can use a large container, like an icecream tub, and put some weighty object in it, then fill it with water.

its a sign a demon has controlled your cat its gonna get more powerful and then knock your food over then when its big enough it takes over ur body and knocks ur house down beware
