What do you do with these points?

eh, the more points you get, the more stuff you can do.

more questions can be asked, more answers... you can rate peoples answers... etc.

The points are just a system used by Yahoo Answers. All you can do with the points is ask more questions. I think it is a way to push people towards answering other people's questions so that the program keeps running.

You earn them so you can ask questions. You can't ask questions if you don't have any points. Other than that, you don't really do anything else with them. The more points you have, the more bragging rights you have, I guess...

in England each is worth a pound which you can spend at Threshers or Victoria Wine. My 200 plus points mean I'm about to have a great christmas. Vote me as best answer and I can get an extra case of Stella.

They mean nothing.

In the beginning I was in a contest with myself to get to level 7.....now I don't even look at the points.

I thought the same thing, All that I can find is that you have different levels for the number of questions that you can ask and when you can rate answers etc. That's It!

You cannot use them as they have no value other than personal satisfaction. As you do add to your total, you do gain some extra privileges.

It would be great if you could use them in some way, but that is not the case.

well u can brag about them to other people, i dont got alot of points but i like helping ppls out and asking questions

the levels are to record your points and activity

to get higher levels and privileges on the yahoo answers site, there are no prizes for the points
