Should I do it?
In my teen years... When I was 18 I went to Cancun for my graduation gift... I came back pregnant... I lost it only 2 months in... My doctor said that I have a weak lining? And that he didn't think I'd ever be able to carry to term... Well, I'm ready to start my family... I'm only 21 and I'm afraid that this will just crush me, if I miss carry again... I'm an only child, but my mom miss carried her second pregnancy and never attempted again... What should I do ?

I had two miscarriages before I had my son. They do happen, but it doesn't mean you can't have a full term pregnancy. It's heartbreaking to have a miscarriage, but the hope of having a baby kept me going. If you're still in the thinking-about-it stage, talk to your obgyn and ask for advice on having a safe and healthy pregnancy. You can't prevent all miscarriages, but you can do your best to have a healthy pregnancy.
Good luck.

The first thing I would do is get a new ob/gyn! Then talk to your ob/gyn and get very clear information on "weak lining" and what you can an d should do to increase your chances of carrying to full term.
The other information I think you need is how healthy you are now - how have you taken care of yourself in the past year? Were you on birth control? How long have you been off the pill if so?
What makes you ready to start a family now? You are very young, and I wonder if you are emotionally ready for a baby. I am not judging you -- but trying to say that if you are a high risk pregnancy physically, you need to have all of your other "ducks" in order - emotionally, etc.
Best of luck!

It is common for women to misscarry in their first pregnancy. I would definitely get a second opinion. For a doctor to say that to you right off the bat is very strange, and he has probably caused you unneeded worry over these years.
Do not be afraid of a misscarriage. It is upsetting, but they do happen for reasons beyond your control. Just because you have one does not mean you can't eventually have a beautiful, healthy baby. Try again, hun. Good luck to you!

Go to a different doctor, tell them what the doctor told you, sk for their opinion, and ask what you can do, seeing as how you are ready to start a family. Good luck!!
